WARSAW -- The funeral for Robert Lee Cooper Jr., 55, of 762 Perry Rivenbark Road, will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on W. Hill Street. Elder James Smith and the Rev. David Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in the Devotional Gardens.

Mr. Cooper died Monday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

He was the former owner and operator of Cooper's Mostly Meats.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sadie W. Cooper, and is survived by his father, Robert Lee Cooper Sr. of Warsaw; two sons, Robbie Cooper and Robert Lee Cooper III of the home; one daughter, Shanca Cha´nise Cooper of Raleigh; one brother, William M. Cooper of Warsaw; three sisters, Jannie Lowe of Warsaw, Charlette Cooper and Denise E. Cooper of Raleigh; and one granddaughter.

The viewing hours will be from 3 until 5 p.m. on Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Warsaw.

Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive is serving the family.
