WILLIAM F. BREWINGTON
DUDLEY -- William Franklin Brewington, 65, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor James Grimes officiating. A private entombment will be held at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mr. Brewington was born in Washington D.C. Dec. 10, 1938. He was a veteran of the Navy.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Brewington of Dudley; his second wife, Sara Brewington; three sons, William G. Brewington and wife, Madeline, of Dale City, Va., Billy Brewington and wife, Katrina, of Dudley and Franklin R. Brewington and wife, Amanda, of Goldsboro; two brothers, Larry Brewington of Dudley and Charles Brewington of Charlotte; two sisters, Sharon Boone of Rockville, Md., and Eunice Pharr of Charlotte; and 10 grandchildren, Vanessa, Jamel, Steven, William, Alexander, Eboni, Trey, Miranda, Danielle and Eric; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doreatha Fields Brewington; his father, Franklin Brewington; and a brother, Jimmy Roger Brewington.
The viewing will be held Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home.
