VERNICE WOOTEN
BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- The funeral for Vernice Wooten, formerly of Goldsboro, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Luberta Artis of Dudley and Catherine Braswell and Rosa L. Wooten of Brooklyn; a brother, James Hobbs of Rochester, Minn.; three stepchildren, Willie Chestnut and Jessie McNeil of Goldsboro and Feorge Langston of Forestville, Md.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
