EDNA WOOD
CLINTON -- Edna Lucille Wood, 87, of 604 Park Ave, died Monday at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home. Dr. Louie Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood was a native of Sampson County. She was the widow of Allen Williams Wood and the daughter of the late Thomas Henry Lamb and Hattie Smith Lamb. She was a member of Eastern Star and graves Memorial Presbyterian Church and was formerly employed as a secretary at Cook Machine Company.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother and is survived by their families.
They will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
