KATHLEEN WORRELL

Mrs. Kathleen Langston Worrell, 86, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 22, 2004, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Kathleen was born on November 28, 1917, in Wayne County and she would have celebrated her 87th birthday this Sunday. She was the daughter of the late Burgess Langston and Cora Belle Ginn Langston. For 65 years, Kathleen was the faithful wife of the late Paul Worrell. She was a member of Westwood United Methodist Church and the Westwood Methodist Women.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Stewart officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Worrell is survived by her daughters, Annette W. Dail, and husband, Bobby, of Goldsboro and Kathy W. Coor, and husband, Mike, of Goldsboro; her son, Paul Howard Worrell, and wife, Mary, of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Wendy D. Potter and husband, Ronald, Brandon Dail and wife, Dawn, Matthew Worrell, Sidney Worrell, Michael Coor and Devin Coor; her great-grandsons, Jordan Dail, Evan Potter and Owen Potter; and her special cousin, Ruth Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Irene Hines and Lizzie Wolford.

Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534; or to the Services on Aging, 204 E. Walnut Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.

The family will receive friends tonight following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home.
