Vernice H. Wooten, 81, formerly of Goldsboro, died in Brooklyn, N.Y., Friday morning.
Family will receive friends at her daughter Luberta Wooten Artis' house at 208 Lakewood Drive in Dudley.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and are being handled by McIntyre Funeral Home.
