CHARLIE DAIL
Charlie Dail, 90, a resident of Woodard's Care, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Sherwood Lassiter officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
A native of Wayne County, Mr. Dail was the son of the late Lloyd Dail and Addie Jarrell Dail and was married to the late Minnie Wiggins Dail. He worked at Griffin's Barbecue for many years before retiring.
He is survived by two daughters, Ruby Kornegay Head of Goldsboro and Dorothy Bass of Goldsboro; his sons, James Clifton Kornegay of Goldsboro and William Dail of Goldsboro; sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Mr. Dail was preceded in death by his son, Elton Ray Kornegay.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ruby Head, 3757 Hwy. 117 North, Goldsboro.
