REV. JOHN GAVIN
The Rev. John Gavin, OSFS, died on Friday, Nov. 12, 2004.
He served as pastor of Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church from 1991 until 1997.
Son of the late John and Anna Gavin, he is survived by his two brothers, Frank of Glen Ridge, N.J., and Edmond of Philadelphia, and seven nephews and three nieces and their children.
The viewing will be on Friday, Nov. 19, at Our Lady of Light Chapel in Childs, Md., at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
Mealey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oblate Retirement Fund, 2200 Kentmere Parkway, Wilmington, Del., 19806.
