The funeral for Margaret Lee Raynor Braswell, 75, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Bear Creek Headquarters Association at 1800 S. Slocumb St. Pastor Timothy Dortch will officiate. Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery.

Mrs. Braswell died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl Cox Raynor, she attended Johnston County Schools and graduated from Wayne Community College. She worked at O'Berry Center for 17 years and retired with 22 years of service with the State of North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Braswell, and is survived by eight daughters, Anna Hall, Linda Hobbs, Evelyn Braswell, Judy Boyle, Robin Ingram, Pamela Bynum, Arlesia Alwahishi, and Annie Bonner; three sons, Jackie Braswell, James Braswell and Charles Stevens; three stepchildren, Roslyn, Derrick and George Braswell; two sisters, Mary Loftin and Pearlene Faison of Goldsboro; and 34 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

The viewing hours will be from 1 until 6 today at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.

An inspirational wake will be held tonight from 7 until 8 at Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
