ELEASE GIDDENS
NEWTON GROVE -- Elease M. Giddens, 75, of 4701 William R. King Road, died Monday.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Father Ned Shlesinger will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Giddens is survived by three daughters, Shirley Gid-dens of Newton Grove, Geral-dine Cuevas of Martinez, Ca., and Althea LaBattle of New-ton Grove; a son, Glenn Gid-dens of Newton Grove; three sisters, Marjorie Joyner and Marie Jernigan of Newton Grove and Edna Hargrove of Clinton; one brother, John "Tenny" McCullen of Gran-tham; and nine grandchildren.
A half-hour rosary service will be held this evening at 6:30 at West & Dunn Funeral Home and the family will remain afterward to receive friends until 9 p.m.
