AYDEN -- Mary Frances Riley, 83, sister of Elsie Sutton of Kenansville, died Monday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
The funeral will be held tonight at 8 in the chapel of Farmer Funeral Service. Burial will on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Estates.
Mrs. Riley was the widow of Gaither William Riley and was a graduate of Greensboro Women's College. She was a member of the United Church of God in Greenville and the Greenville Kiwanis Club.
In addition to her sister, Mrs. Riley is survived by a son, Tommy Riley of Winterville; another sister, Geraldine Sharp of Grifton; and three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service tonight.
Memorial donations may be made to Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
