LOUISANA FAISON
KENANSVILLE -- The funeral for Louisana Faison, 96, of 121 Fennell St., formerly of Bowdens, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bowdens. The Rev. Harold Boykin will officiate. Burial will be in Bowdens Cemetery.
Mrs. Faison died Saturday at Duplin General Hospital.
She is survived by a son, Avery Monk of the home; a daughter, Yvonne M. Morrisey of New Jersey; a sister, Sula Faison of Bowdens; and five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive and the family will be present from 5 until 6 p.m. to receive friends.
