DERWIN L. LITTLE
Derwin L. Little, 41, of Granite Falls, died Sunday at his home.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Philippi Church of Christ on Farmville Boulevard in Greenville. Bishop Randy Royal will officiate. Burial will be in Homestead Memorial Gardens.
He was a native of Greenville and a 1982 graduate of J.H. Rose High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed as a correctional officer at Caldwell Correctional Center in Hudson.
He is survived by one son, Derwin L. Little Jr. of the home; his parents, Carl and Bettye Little of Greenville; three brothers, Donald E. Little of Virginia Beach, Va., and Darrell G. Little and Dimitri T. Little of Greenville.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.
The family is being served by Blake Phillips Funeral Services in Greenville.
