SARAH REAVES

MOUNT OLIVE -- Sarah Louise Grady Reaves, 90, went home to be with her Saviour and Lord, surrounded by her family and friends, on Sunday afternoon, October 24, 2004, at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.

Services will be held at Tyndall Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 26, at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Gordon Clarke officiating. Committal and burial will follow on Wednesday morning, October 27, at 11 a.m. in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive. Her grandsons will proudly serve as pallbearers.

She is survived by four children and their spouses: Hilda R. Barwick and husband, Robert S. "Bob" Barwick, of Grifton, Bennie Ray Reaves and wife, Margaret J. Reaves, of Dudley, Jerry Daniel Reaves and wife, Karen Reaves, of Mount Olive, and Sandra R. Weeks and husband, Willie Ray Weeks, of Mount Olive; a sister, Bettie Mae McCullen of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren, Wayne Barwick, Connie Barwick, Tony Barwick, Lisa Reaves Jones, Michael Reaves, Brad Reaves, Stephen Reaves, Danny Weeks and Todd Weeks; and 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Daniel Reaves; her parents, Toby and Bertie Potts Grady; two brothers, James H. Grady and Roscoe Grady; and five sisters, Minnie Daniels, Nellie Daniels, Leona Coley, Geneva Odom, and Alene Baker.

The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home following the funeral on Tuesday night, and other times at the home of Sandra and Willie Ray Weeks, 1028 Mills Road, Mount Olive.
