Elizabeth "Lib" Rose Blalock, 76, of 2800 Langston Drive, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Harvin officiating. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Blalock was born in Sampson County to the late John William and Vennie Warren Rose and was married to the late Donald Ray Blalock.

She was a charter member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Goldsboro Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association.

Surviving are two sons, Victor Blalock of Greenville and Rudy Blalock of Pikeville; a sister, Bonnie Hines of Goldsboro; two brothers, James Rose and Byron Rose, both of Clinton; two grandchildren, Melissa Bennett and Brooks Blalock; two great-grandchildren, Brittany Bennett and Summer Bennett; and very special friend, Thurman Pike of Mount Olive.

She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Ray Blalock.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.

Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1605 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
