Henry Coleman King, 80, died Wednesday at his home.

The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Reverends Steve Sprinkle and Dennis Atwood will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.

Mr. King was born in Duplin County to the late Henry Allen and Lela Whitfield King. He was a United States Army veteran and was a salesman with Holmes Used Cars of Mount Olive. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Olive, American Legion Post 103, and Woodmen of the World and was a volunteer with Wayne County Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by one daughter, Rhonda King Nease of Cary; a special friend, Barbara Millard of Mount Olive; and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne County Meals on Wheels Program, 601 E. Royall Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
