CHARLES NEAL JR.
Charles Edgar Neal Jr., 57, of 684 NC 581 South, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pine Forest United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Billy Olsen officiating.
Mr. Neal was a native of Wayne County and was the son of Mae Lupton Neal of the Rosewood community and the late Charles Edgar Neal Sr. He was retired from the United States Air Force and was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Lisa Beth Abalos of Midlothian, Texas, Mary Haner of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Irene Hutton of Kings Tree, S.C.; two sons, David Sean Neal of Arizona and Tommy Neal of Kings Tree, S.C.; two sisters, Gloria Braswell and her husband, Rick, of Goldsboro and Donna Davis and her husband, Tim, of Goldsboro; and one grandchild, Hunnar Wyatt Abalos.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
