LENORA TAYLOR
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Lenora Taylor, sister of Lila "Pie" Ellis of Dudley and John Taylor of Goldsboro, died Thursday, Sept. 30.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 215 Rhode Island Ave., N.W. Pastor Terry D. Streeter will officiate. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
A native of Wayne County, Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late Ed and Margaret Taylor and was the widow of Lam Taylor.
Surviving, in addition to her sister and brother, are four daughters, Shirley Thompson, Evangeline Dyer, Mildred Stewart and Margaret McDonald, and three sons, Henry, James and Oliver Taylor, all of Washington, D.C., and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
