LOCKPORT, N.Y. -- Marian R. Adams Sharp, 85, mother of Charles Sharpe of Goldsboro, died Thursday at Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility after a short illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 2 p.m. at St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Joe Gatto will preside. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery in Gasport.

Mrs. Sharpe was born in Utica, N.Y., to the late William and Mary Ann Graul Golden. She was the widow of Kenneth Adams and Adelbert J. Sharpe.

Her survivors include three other sons, Roger Adams and Ronald Adams of Lockport and John Adams of Gasport; two daughters, Nancy Smith of Lockport and Karen Sharpe of Gasport; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. at Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., Gasport.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association of Western New York, or to a charity of one's choice.
