DONALD MOORING

Donald Mooring, 58, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late James Blaney Mooring and Maybelle Jones Mooring. Mr. Mooring served his country in the United States Army.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday 4 p.m. at Sasser-Talton Cemetery with military honors; the Rev. David Thick will officiate.

Mr. Mooring is survived by one son, Christopher Blaney Mooring, who is currently serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq, and his wife Jenny of Smithfield; two daughters, Andrea Mooring of Florida, and Jessica Mooring of Illinois; three sisters, Brenda Rollins of Goldsboro, Ruth Price of Dudley, and Rose Wood of Goldsboro; one brother, Kenneth Mooring of Washington; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.

The family will receive friends Monday night from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Joseph and Brenda Rollins, 892 Hwy. 581 North, Goldsboro.
