WALLACE -- Lula Mae Kenan Carr, 80, of 266 H.C. Powers Road, died Sunday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

The funeral will be held Saturday at noon at Yeshewa Temple of God and True Holiness. Apostle Davelon Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia.

Mrs. Carr is survived by two sons, John Cicero Carr of Patterson, N.J., and M.L. Carr of Boston, Mass.; three daughters, Mary Carr Pratt of Raleigh, Lavoice Carr Kenan and Linda Fennell of Wallace; two sisters, Ruth Trice and Pauline Pickett of Goldsboro; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

An inspirational wake will be held Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. in the chapel of Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill.
