ROSE ANN RUSSO
LAGRANGE -- Rose Ann Gambella Russo, 54, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Russo was the daughter of Catherine D. Gambella of Goldsboro and the late Ulysses Dominic Gambella. She had worked with Wayne Memorial Hospital in the Medical Records Division and was the manager of the Courtyard Apartments.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Michael Russo; four sons, Anthony Russo and wife, Karen, of Goldsboro, Uly Russo and wife, Laura, of LaGrange, Michael Russo and wife, Veronica, of Wilmington and Gerry Russo of San Diego, Calif.; one daughter, Regina Russo of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Anthony II, Nicholas, Antonio, Michael Ronald and Gerry II; two sisters, Vera Turnage of Goldsboro and Diane Lockwood of Cary; and one brother, Nick Gambella of Goldsboro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Norris, O.S.F.S., presiding. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today and Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. The Wednesday visitation will follow the Rosary at 6 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home of Vera Turnage, 411 Plantation Place in the Raintree Subdivision in Goldsboro.
