ROBERT HOLMES
Funeral services for Mr. Robert L. Holmes are scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. at Praise, Pray, Worship and Revival Center on 1100 N. John St.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, with Pastor Clifton Brewington delivering the eulogy.
Mr. Holmes leaves to cherish his memories one loving daughter, Katina Thompson (George) of Goldsboro; two sons, Rico Moses and Lafonte Moses, both of Goldsboro; one god-daughter, Shvonne Taylor; five brothers, Earl Holmes (Evangelist Fannie), Jerry Lee Holmes (Missionary Barbara), Frankie Lee Holmes (Esther), Allen Ray Holmes, all of Goldsboro, and Harold Holmes (Vanessa) of Union, N.J.; one god-brother Kelvin Whitfield; four sisters, Edna Brock of Goldsboro, Christine Holmes of Dudley, Lois Holmes of Raleigh, and Missionary Brenda Lee of Dover, Del.; one aunt, Lenora Holmes of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one god-sister Essie Pearl Tatum of Goldsboro; a very close friend, Lee Ree Simmons of Goldsboro; a very special sister-in-law, Doris Holmes of Goldsboro; 10 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A viewing will be held today from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The family will be receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at McIntrye Funeral Home.
