ELIZABETH EDMUNDSON

Elizabeth "Panner" Smith Edmundson, 67, of 304 West Vine St., died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held today at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Preston and the Rev. Arnold Ball will officiate. Interment will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Cobb Cemetery.

Mrs. Edmundson was born in Greene County to the late Odie and Mary Radford Smith. She was a member of Faith Believers Outreach Church.

She is survived by her husband, Hubert "Tip" Edmundson Jr.; four daughters, Myra Gail Quinn of the home, Betty Sue Daughtry and husband, Raymond, of Fremont, Lisa Grant of Goldsboro and Karen Rodriquezsotelo of Appleton, Wisc.; two sons, Gilbert Edward Lee of the home and Johnny Ray Lee of Hurley, Wisc.; six stepdaughters, Brenda Williams of Goldsboro, Mary Carter of LaGrange, Judy Morris of Goldsboro, Donna Howell of Snow Hill and Patsy Futrell and Lori Wells of Pikeville; two stepsons, Ronnie Edmundson of Mount Olive and Roger Edmundson of Seven Springs; three sisters, Marie Carter of LaGrange, Ruby Burroughs of Dudley and Joan Carter of Seven Springs; one brother, Bud Smith of LaGrange; 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, 18 step-grandchildren and 18 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert David Lee; one son, Robert Clifton Lee; one daughter, Rhonda Darlene Lee; two grandchildren, Jacqueline Elizabeth Daughtry and Kristine Marie Rose; one stepson, Paul Scott Edmundson; one stepdaughter, Paulette Butts; one sister, Louise Edmundson; and two brothers, Danny Ray Smith and Tom Smith.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight, and at other times at the home of Marie Carter, 206 East James Street, LaGrange.
