MABLE HOWELL

Mable Gardner Howell, 91, formerly of the Patetown Community and a resident of Countryside Living, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late George Gardner and Annie Williams Gardner and was the widow of Claude Millard Howell. She was a member of United In Christ Church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Gardner, and is survived by several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The Rev. R.N. Williford and the Rev. Ira Williford will officiate. Interment will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Howell Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Howell, Curtis Kennedy, Uwe Canting, Curtis Howell, Greg Davidson, and William Person.

The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home following the funeral, and at other times at the residence of Frankie and Faye Person, 3816 Hwy. 111 North, in the Patetown community.
