EDNA J. SUTTON
ROSEBORO -- Edna Joy Sutton, 62, 1320 Porter Road, died Wednesday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hillsberry Free Will Baptist Church. The Reverends Earl Thigpen and Ronald Long will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton City Cemetery.
Mrs. Sutton was a native of Sampson County and was the daughter of the late John Sanford Hainey and Kathryn Bruce Hainey. She was a member of Hillsberry Free Will Baptist Church and war retired from Hamilton Beach.
She is survived by her husband, James Elwood Sutton of the home; a daughter, Beth S. Kellog of Roseboro; a sister, Peggy Painter of Sanford; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at the home.
