MARVIN SHEAROD SR.
Marvin P. Shearod Sr., 84, of 214 Bunche Drive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pentecostal Holy Church. Bishop S.D. Clemons will officiate. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
Mr. Shearod is survived by his wife, Sadie Shearod of the home; two sons, Marvin Shearod of Goldsboro and Charles Shearod of Camp Springs, Md.; four daughters, Shirley Porter, Felicia Shearod and Rita Greenfield of Goldsboro and Marva J. Shearod of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Viola Crawford of Goldsboro; and 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 9 p.m. on Friday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, and the family will be present to receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m.
