AGNES L. ADAMS
Agnes Leona Adams, 71, of 1502 Scotty Drive, went to be with our Lord on September 13, 2004.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Goldsboro. Dr. William Hufham and the Reverend Ryan Rasmussen will officiate.
Mrs. Adams was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on November 3, 1932, to the late Robert and Frances Skelly Evans. She was a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church and its mission team. She was also involved with many community organizations.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roy L. Adams; two sons, Russell Adams and wife, Mary, of Emerald Isle and R.L. Adams and wife, Charlene, of Wendell; three grandchildren, Ryan, Allison and Lane; and a long-time friend, Candy Whitley.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church Dining Hall Fund, 1101 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
