DIANE WASHINGTON
The funeral for Diane Barnes Washington, 36, of 1001 Evergreen Ave., will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Darden Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Carlton Barnes will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Washington died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Alan Washington of the home; two daughters, Carmecia and Doreshia Barnes of Goldsboro; a son, Michael Barnes of Goldsboro; her mother, Dorothy M. Barnes of Washington, D.C.; four brothers, Jimmy Barnes of Maryland, Bobby and Alphonso Barnes of Goldsboro and Harold Lee Barnes Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Roegean Sutton and Janice Lamb of Goldsboro and Juniper Wiles of Washington, D.C.; her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Barnes of the home; and her maternal grandmother, Lillie Artis of Fremont.
The viewing will be today from 4 until 9 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
