JONDA BENTON
The funeral for Jonda Kay Benton will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Cedar Grove Disciple Church, Princeton. Interment will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
Mrs. Benton died Wednes-day at her home.
She was a native of Duplin County and was the daughter of John Darden of Goldsboro and the late Dorothy M. Darden. She was a member of Cedar Grove Disciple Church.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, MInister Roger Benton Jr.; four children, Stephanie and Portia Chislom and Javon and Jaquan Darden; five stepchildren, Rogerlene Benton and Helen Benton of Philadelphia, Ronnie Benton of Boston, Ronald Benton of Greenville, N.C., and Linda Benton of Dudley; her grandmother, Gladys Flowers; two brothers, James Darden of Dudley and John Darden III of Goldsboro; and four sisters, Jeanette Darden of Goldsboro and Juanita Darden, LaKisha Darden and Joyce A. Holloway of Dudley.
The viewing hours will be from 1 until 6 p.m. today at McIntryre Funeral Home Ministries.
