GERTRUDE BARWICK
Gertrude Barnes Barwick, 83, of 211 Forest Circle, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Whitfield and the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhorn Cemetery in Kenly.
Mrs. Barwick was a native of Wilson County and was the daughter of the late Ruffin Barnes and Lillie Ricks Barnes and the widow of Jesse Roland Barwick. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Her survivors include one sister, Lillie Mae Renfrow of Kenly, and several nieces and nephews.
Among those who preceded her in death was a sister, Daisy Barnes Wiggs of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, just prior to the funeral on Thursday.
