RUTH WALKER
KINSTON -- The funeral for Ruth Ellen Jones Walker, 75, of 1404 Bond St., will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. John Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. J.W. Best will officiate. Burial will be in Bright Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Ronnie and Edward Walker of Manhattan, N.Y.; a daughter, Barbara W. Hinnant of LaGrange; five brothers, Charlie Jones, Marion Jones and Lemuel Jones of Kinston and Hebera Odell Johns and John Wesley of Manhattan, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 2 until 8 today at Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home.
