BETTY H. JOHNSON
WARSAW -- Betty Hill "Bebe" Johnson, 70, of 112 Boyette Rd, died Tuesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Mrs. Johnson married the late Paul Johnson Sr. and was the daughter of Catherine Hill of Kenansville and the late Reynold Hill.
Mrs. Johnson graduated from Douglass High School and received a degree in elementary education from Shaw University. Mrs. Johnson taught in the Duplin County schools and in Wayne County schools, until she retired.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Johnson is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul Johnson, Jr. and wife Alice of the home; one brother, James Hill, of Rose Hill; one grandson, and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Rainbow Baptist Church.
The viewing will be today from 3 until 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home.
