Funeral services for Thelma Holmes Brown will be held at New Spirit Ministries, 1501 N. William St., on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Freddie Barnes will officiate. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park, 117 S.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Banks of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Eleanor Baldwin of Goldsboro; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed from 2 until 7 p.m. today at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home, and at other times the family will receive friends at 418 N. Kornegay St.
