JAZELL W. HENDERSON SR.
Jazell Wesley Henderson Sr. 80, of 600 S. Claiborne Sr., Goldsboro died at Wayne Memorial Hospital Thursday night. He was the son of late Elias and Sara Edmundson Henderson. He received his education from the Wayne County Schools. He served his country in the Army and worked as a Dental Technician until he received an honorable discharge. He retired from Cherry Hospital after 43 years service as Health Care Technician II.
There will be a funeral service Monday at 1 p.m. from the First Assembly. The Rev. Gainer will preside and the Rev. Charles Howard is the eugolist. Burial will be in the Wayne Memorial Park.
Survivors include; six sons, Wesley Henderson of Manhattan, N.Y., Charles Boone of New Haven, Conn., Michael D. Henderson of Philadelphia, Pa., Charles L. Howard, Jazell W Henderson and Terrell Henderson, all of Goldsboro; four daughters, Samaria H. Williams of St. Louis, Mo., Olivia Walls, Antoinette Artis amd Bonita Henderson of Goldsboro; 34 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
The body may be viewed today from 3 until 8 p.m. in the Rhodes Chapel.
Arrangements are being handled by Rhodes Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
