HENRY B. McARTHUR
MOUNT OLIVE -- Henry B. McArthur, 41, died early this morning at his home at 301 North Breazeale Avenue in Mount Olive.
He was employed by Firestone of Wilson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church, Highway 70 West, La Grange, of which he was a member. Following the funeral service on Saturday night, the family will remain at the church to greet friends. At other times the family will be receiving at the residence. A committal service and interment will take place on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Henry is survived by his wife, Kimberly Benson "Kim" McArthur of the home; a son, Timothy McArthur, and a daughter, Hannah McArthur, both of the home; his mother, Elsie Mae Whitman, and his step-father, James Whitman, both of Mount Olive; a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Donald Heffner of Dudley; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray Douglas and Marie McArthur, and William and Jeannie McArthur, all of Mount Olive; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Laney Sr. and Norma Benson of Dudley; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Schofill of Dudley, and Cheryl Dodson and husband, Ed, of Durham; a brother-in-law, Laney Jr. "L.A." Benson and wife, Kim, of Mount Olive; nieces, Donna Heffner of Durham, Katrina Schofill and husband, Alexis Deveria of Dudley, and Christy McArthur of Mount Olive; and nephews, Danny Heffner and wife, Toni of Greenville, Kenneth McArthur, Douglas McArthur, Bobby McArthur, all of Mount Olive, Andy Baxley of Durham, Jimmy McArthur, Drew Benson, and Jordan Benson, all of Mount Olive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Ray McArthur.
Henry's funeral arrangemments are in the care of Tyndall Funeral Home, Inc. f Mount Olive.
