BILLY G. BEASLEY
BENSON -- Mr. Billy Gayle Beasley, 56, of 10949 U.S. 301 South died Friday at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
He was a native of Johnston County, born April 16, 1948, to the late John Burchal Beasley and the late Roena Moore Beasley Smith. He was a former employee of Edwards Construction Company, Spring Hope. Mr. Beasley attended the Erwin Church of God.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel. The Rev. King White and the Rev. Currie Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in Young Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Darrell Raynor of Mount Olive; brothers, Orbie Lee Beasley of Wilmington, Donald Bruce Beasley of Benson; sisters, Doris B. Chisenhall of Durham, Helen B. Cooke of Dunn, Linda B. Wood of Wilmington; and grandchildren, Courtney Raynor and Jessica Raynor.
The family received friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday and other times at the home.
