A memorial service for Pauline Warrick Langston Holloway will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holloway died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, in Virginia.

She was born in Wayne County on May 18, 1915, and had been a Peninsula resident since 1941. She was the daughter of the late Emmett and Maybelle B. Warrick and was the widow of Jack Langston and Benjamin F. Holloway.

She is survived by a daughter, Alice Langston Parker of Richmond, Va.; two sons, Raymond E. Langston and Malcolm R. Langston of Smithfield, Va.; five sisters, Mae Shumate, Christine Smith, Ranette Howell and Edna Breshears of Goldsboro and Shirley Knowles of Autryville; two brothers, Haywood Warrick of Charlotte and Leslie Warrick of Autryville; and 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Peninsula Funeral Home in Newport News, Va., and burial was in Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News.

Memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
