WILLIAM N. EVERETT

HAMILTON -- William Norman Everett, 80, brother of Kay Casey of Goldsboro, died Saturday at Williamston Rehabilitation Center.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hamilton Baptist Church. The Reverends J.N. Baggett and Sam Bulluck will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Everett was the owner of an insurance agency. He was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church, the American Legion, the Lions Club, Hamilton Town Board and the Historic Hamilton Commission and volunteered as a math tutor for third-graders at Edna Andrews School.

In addition to his sister, he is survived by his wife, Rebecca H. Everett; a son, Timothy Norman Everett of Hamilton; a daughter, Kristie Lee Everett of Hamilton; another sister, Jane Hall of Metairie, La.; and four grandsons and a great-grandson.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston.
