MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Emma Lee Carr, 92, of 802 Oliver St., will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Larry Faison will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.
Mrs. Carr died Sunday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
She is survived by one daughter, Toni Morant of the home; two sisters, Juanita Speight of Walstonburg and Lillie Mae Ivy of Detroit, Mich., one brother, James Earl Bynum of Wilson; four grandchildren, Toriano Morant of the home, Shelton Bowden of Brooklyn, N.Y., Alison Bowden of LaGrange and April Bowden of Richmond, Va.; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 7 today at Garris Funeral Home.
