VERYLYN M. DAVIS
GREENSBORO -- Verlyn Manuel Davis of 4120 Stirrup Drive, formerly of Dudley, died Thursday.
A private memorial service will be held at Hargett Funeral Home and a cremation service will be held at a later date in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Davis attended school in Dudley and at Carver in Mount Olive before moving to Philadelphia.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda, and three sons, Tyrone, Kevin and Larry Jr.; two sisters, Carol Perkins and her husband, Willie, of Greensboro and Yvonne Parker and her husband, Guy, of Goldsboro; one brother, Shafton Manuel Jr. and his wife, Hortense, of Dudley; a brother-in-law, Willie Price of Goldsboro; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Manuel of Dudley; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
