KAREN BAKER

Karen Diane Baker, 43, of 322 White Oak Road, died Thursday at her home.

A native of South Dakota, she was the daughter of Marvin and Joyce Childress Baker of Goldsboro. Karen was a special education teacher at the Caswell Center and was a graduate of East Carolina University.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jack Sauls officiating. Interment will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to her parents, She is survived by her brother, Keith Baker of California; her niece, Melody Baker of Goldsboro; and several uncles, aunts and cousins. She is also survived by many friends and her beloved pet children, Katie, Cricket, Shadow, Fletcher, Xena, Meg, and Prissy.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home following the service on Saturday night, and other times at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one's local S.P.C.A., or to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
