BOBBY PEEDIN
Bobby Ray Peeden, 73, died Tuesday at his home at Emerald Isle.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Swansboro. The Rev. Phillip Hogan will officiate.
Mr. Peeden retired from the United States Marine Corps as a master gunnery ser-geant with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Peeden of the home; four sons, Michael Ray Peeden of Greensboro, Joe Peeden of Cape Carteret, Barry Peeden of Emerald Isle and Ricky Peeden of Swansboro; a daughter, Tina Locklear of Atlanta, Ga.; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
