EDWARD GONSER

TIFTON, Ga. -- Edward Ralph Gonser, 66, died Monday at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Prior to retirement from the United States Air Force, he was a B-52 pilot for 15 years and had served in Southeast Asia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Edward Gonser and Emily Fox Gonser, and is survived by his wife, Evelyn Louverne Forehand Gonser; one son, Larry Gene Tice of Columbus; one daughter, Mary Boughter of Goldsboro; one brother, Fred Gonser of Macon; and two sisters, Judie G. Cooper and Carolee Chapman of Tifton.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Kraemer will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
