WILLIAM HAYES
A graveside service for William Henry "Buster" Hayes, 79, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the family cemetery near Rocky Mount.
Mr. Hayes died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was a native of Edgecombe County and was the son of the late Robert Hayes and Annie Jinkins and was married to the late Mary Jordan Hayes.
Among his survivors are two sons Milton "Skippy" Hayes of Goldsboro and Timothy Carnell Hayes of Plainfield, N.J.; one daughter, Sandra Gail Wooten of Goldsboro; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 7 today at McIntyre Funeral Home on S. George Street.
