JAMES L. STRICKLAND
MOUNT OLIVE -- James Leonard "Buddy" Strickland, 77, of 3896 N.C. 55 West died Friday.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Brownings United Methodist Church. The Rev. Lily Chou and the Rev. Glenn McCullen will officiate. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, James Clark and Loretta Strickland of Mount Olive, George Blake and Donna Strickland of Mount Olive and Leon Scott Strickland of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Salle Scott Strickland, Ashley Lynn Strickland, Kendall Scott Strickland, Heather Blake Strickland, Erica Elizabeth Strickland and Tyler Britt Strickland; and nephew, Dennis Lee Hollowell.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 until 8 p.m.
