CHARLIE TURNAGE

DUDLEY -- Charlie E. Turnage, 66, of 124 Barnwell Road, died Wednesday at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation in Mount Olive.

A private funeral will be held with the Rev. Steven Bedsole officiating.

Mr. Turnage was born in Wayne County and was the son of the late Charlie Arthur and Letha White Turnage. He was a retired from Franklin Baking Company and was a member of Faith Believers Outreach Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Wendy T. Bedsole and Charlotte T. Warren of Dudley; three brothers, Perry Turnage and Marvin Turnage of Goldsboro and Tom Holloman of Princeton; four sisters, Mary Cooke and Kathalene Lane of Goldsboro, Myrtle Moody of Dudley, and Mildred Jones of Seven Springs; and six grandchildren, Chrystal Lane, Chrystopher Lane and Tommy Turnage of Mount Olive, BrieAnna Warren, Brittany Warren and Tyler Lee Warren of Dudley.

The family will receive friends at 124 Barnwell Road, Dudley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Faith Believers Outreach Church, 619 N. William St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.

Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home is serving the family.
