CAROLYN DAVIS
BRONX, N.Y. -- Carolyn Davis, 53, died June 29, 2004, at her home.
She was born in Goldsboro and was the daughter of Bertha M. Davis of Long Island and James Spruill of Oklahoma.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Jeanine Taylor, and a son, William Carter Jr. of the Bronx; three grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Lane of Queens, N.Y.; two brothers, Randy Davis of Queens, N.Y., James Spruill III of Brooklyn, N.Y.; her grandmother, Fannie Wynn of Goldsboro; aunts, Hattie Wynn, Vangeline Middleton and Elizabeth (William) Dawson of Goldsboro; uncles, James W. Wynn and Calvin G. Wynn of Goldsboro; great aunt, Carrie Reid of Central Heights; her oldest and dearest friend, Russell Winn of Bronx, N.Y.; one niece, three nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
The funeral was held Tuesday, July 6, at 10 a.m. at Bronx Community Baptist Church.
