E. EARL BARWICK

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Ednall Earl Barwick, 86, died Sunday at his home. Mr. Barwick was born Feb. 22, 1918, in Wayne County to the late Arthur and Mable Quinn Barwick. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of Daly's Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church. He retired from Caswell Center with 16 years of service as a Health Care Technician and was a lifetime farmer.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in the Quinn Family Cemetery.

Mr. Barwick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maxine Price Barwick; three sons, Vernie Barwick and wife, Pennie, of Seven Springs, Neil Barwick and wife, Susan, of Kenansville and Chuck Barwick of Greenville; four grandchildren, Byron Barwick of Seven Springs, Catherine Lynch and husband, Neal, of Seven Springs, Riley Barwick and Matthew Barwick, both of Kenansville; great-grandson, Connor Lynch of Seven Springs; and special friends and care givers, Evelyn George and Mildred Bowden. He was preceded in death by a brother, Randolph Barwick; and four sisters, Virginia Williams, Annie Lee Rouse, Ina Hardy and Katie Wade Lynch.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Daly's Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church and at other times they will be at the home. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Daly's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 6138 Daly's Chapel Road, Seven Springs, 28578. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
