JOANN LANE
DUDLEY -- Joann Lane, 55, of 275 Mobile Circle died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Medlin and Dorothy Medlin.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Pastor Karl Bartlett will officiate. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery. Viewing will be held Saturday from 7 until 9 p.m. at her residence, 275 Mobile Circle.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Lane of the home; one daughter, Patricia Tice of Goldsboro; four brothers, Dwight Medlin of Princeton, Johnny Medlin of Dudley, Ray Medlin of Dudley and Jerry Medlin of Dudley; four grandchildren, Heather Tucker of Dudley, Brian Helmick of Seven Springs, Jeffrey and Josh Phillips of Dudley; one great-grandchild, Garrett Tucker of Dudley; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Harold "Bud" Lane Jr.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home is serving the family.
